We are so very sorry for your loss, Stardust. Our Dale tree is artificial. Mom leaves it up until February 1st because she loves it so much so no way could it ever be a live tree!
I was shocked to learn this news! My heart really goes for your pastor's family and his church. Life is full of mysteries. Sometimes it bothers me WHY unfortunate events happen to such faithful bunch of people who doing their all for the Lord. But I recall reading a book saying "the Lord picked the most beautiful flower out of his garden to decorate His home in Heaven". Your pastor must be one of those beautiful flower that now sitting pain free in Heaven.
